Community forum Reddit announced on October 29th the launch of their crowdfunding platform: Redditmade.
The site will allow moderators from the social network to submit projects to Reddit users by offering them to invest anonymously. Ensuring promotion of these projects via a platform that boasts 115 million monthly unique visitors is quite handy. This launch is part of a diversification strategy and follows a lifting of $ 50 million by the US firm on September 29th. CEO Yishan Wong plans to integrate the ability to use a virtual currency to Reddit, which could be consistent with the Redditmade project.
